  Our home builder (Classic Homes of MD) used Sotheby Floors to handle the flooring in our new house. The initial installation looked great until we started noticing cracks in the hardwood installed throughout the house (study, dining room, foyer, upper level hallway, and basement bedroom). It has been a huge hassle and laborious process in getting them to correct this issue. They are now on their 5th trip out to house because of a lack of preparation (they keep running out of wood) despite they fact that they came out to inspect and count for themselves the number of boards needing to be replaced. The installers seem knowledgable but the rep they report to (Ryan) doesn't listen to them. The installers keep asking him to order a certain number of boxes of wood and he keeps sending them out with less than what they asked for. It has been and continues to be (since we are not done yet) a huge waste of our time since someone has to be home all day with the installers.
